Korankei Gorge

Korankei Gorge is a scenic valley renowned for its beautiful autumn foliage as well as seasonal wildflowers.
In autumn, around 4,000 trees turn vibrant shades of red and gold. In November, the “Korankei Momiji Festival” is held, along with special nighttime illuminations that create a magical atmosphere.
In spring, katakuri (dogtooth violet) flowers bloom across a 5,000 m² area. Often called the “fairies of early spring,” their delicate beauty attracts many visitors each year.
