“Hyakken Falls,” located in the mountain of Shinshiro City, is a spiritual place known to those in the know.
After proceeding to the road that doesn’t show up on GPS, you will find cars and people gathered at the entrance of the waterfall, looking for the spiritual power.
In nature with lush greenery, the waterfall, one of the largest with the height of 43 meters in Aichi, has an overwhelming presence.
Hyakken Falls lies right on the median tectonic line, along with Ise Jingu, Toyakawa Inari, and Suwa Taisha, and it is also famous as a “zero magnetic field,” where the S (South) and N (North) magnetic poles are believed to cancel each other out.
The “energy” you can feel here is known to have a relaxing effect physically and mentally and said to surpass the energy that the famous Bungui Pass has in Nagano.
